Diya's POV

After coming back from diner we parted our ways and got busy in our works.

In Evening

I came out after locking my cabin and went to the elevator after waiting few minutes i reached lobby where i found ritu and priya.

"Hey diya where is your scooty?" Ritu asked.

"I didn't came with scooty today bro drop me "

"ohh" they said

"Come then i will drop you off " Ritu said

"No don't worry, I will just take the cab " i said to her

"Shut up and come with me" she said and hold my hand and start dragging me to her car.

"Fine i am coming , slow down  and stop dragging me" i said to her.

After sitting in her car ritu start driving .

"So are you going to talk to your fiancee?" I asked her

"Yes i called him and he said to meet him in a restaurant " she replied

" Ok... I hope he will understand and do something " i said to her

" Yeah!!! Lets see " she said

" When are you going to meet him?" I asked curiously

" After dropping you off i will go directly to the restaurant" she said

"Oh ok" i said and we fell into a comfortable silence.

"Here " she said after reaching my place.

"Thanks and all the best." I said giving her a hug .

" Bye " we said simultaneously. And she drove off, hopefully her fiancee will understand her problems.

I walk in the house and yelled " i am home"

I walk in the living room and found my dad and brother watching some news.

"Hey dad , hey bro " i said sitting beside my dad side hugging him.

" How was the day baby?" Dad asked rubbing my head lovingly

" Tiring " i said shortly

" Oh you're home , go get fresh up then we will start dinner." Mom said coming inside and ushering me upstairs.

I went to my room and got freshen up and came downstairs to start dinner.

We chat and mom started telling me about my wedding preparations.

" Ok guys , i am so tired today so i am going to sleep " i said and give a hug and kiss to my parents and brother and went upstairs to my room .

I was going to throw myself on my bed when I heard my Phone ringing , i groan and start searching my phone and found it in my purse . I was so tired to take it out from my bag that i throw all contents of my bag on bed and saw that it was ritu calling.

"Hello" i replied

"Diya , i am so happy guess what" she screamed loudly

"Gosh Ritu i can hear you just fine you don't need to scream " i said to her.

"Okay now tell me what happened?" I asked her crossing my fingers.

I hope he agreed with her.

"He agreed "she exclaimed .

"He said he will talk to his parents and he said its upto me if i want to still  work after wedding or not and that he will support for whatever decision i take. He is so sweet . You know i think i really like him." She exclaimed excitedly.

"Really!!! Thats so cool , now you can work as much as you want ritu. I am so happy for you." I said to her

"Thanks girl , i will talk to you later ok. I have to go, bye" she said and hung up .

I am so happy for her now she can do whatever she wants to do and her husband will support her as well. He sounds like a really nice guy.

I start putting all contents i had thrown on my bed again in my purse when i saw the envelope of london trip. I totally forgot about it. I need to take permission from my parents . With that i put all contents in my bag and took the envelope and went to the living room where both my parents and brother were sitting and talking.

"Guys i forgot to tell you something" i said entering the living room.

"What?" My brother asked and i show them the envelope

"What's this?" My father asked so i sit beside him and told him all what happened at the restaurant ( except our chat about ritu) and how i won the contest.

"So the agency will pay all the expenses?" My dad asked after i explained everything.

"Yes dad" i said

"And you will go all alone" he asked

"Yes dad " i said now slowly

" But you're going to get married in 2 months baby . Why do you wanna go now . You can go after your wedding with your husband." Mum said

"But mum i wanna go before my wedding, i want to explore a bit before i get married... Please please let me go . Its only 2 weeks trip mom .. pretty please with the cherry on the top" i said to her showing my pouty lips and making innocent eyes.

"But baby its not safe to go alone" she said again . My dad didn't said anything just watching the envelope blankly.

I faced my brother asking him to help me a little but he only shrugged his shoulders.

"Please mom , just this once as you said after 2  months i will get married who knows if my husband will take me anywhere and if my in-laws will allow me to go somewhere . You know how many responsibilities i will have after getting married . Please mom, please please.." i said emotional blackmailing her.

They didn't said anything for few minutes so i started getting up ready to go to my room knowing that they won't allow me to go .

Just as i was getting up my father said "you can go "

"Really!!! Thankyou daddy" i exclaimed excitedly and jump in his arms giving him a tight hug.

"But.." mom started

"Its ok poonam (mom's name) , let her go , i trust my daughter that she will take care of herself . Right baby" dad asked me and i nod my head vigorously.

Mom look between me and daddy for a few minutes.

"Fine , you can go but you will video call me everyday ok"

"Ofcourse mom , love you " i said hugging her

"Love you dad" i said giving him another hug .

"Don't you think you should tell your in-laws and your fiancee as well about this trip . What if they don't want you to go " my brother butted in and gave me a smirk.

I can see gears reversing in my mother's head .

I gave a glare to my brother who in return smirk at me.

"Don't worry brother i will tell them myself , you don't have to worry about it. " I said gritting my teeth.

"Well it was my duty to remind you little sister" he said smirking

I am going to scratch his face if he didn't shut up.

"Well you know what mom dad i was thinking as I am going to get married in 2 months why don't you start finding a bride for him." I said looking at my brother . Now it was my turn to smirk as he gave me a glare.

"Yes you're right , i should start finding a bride for him" my mom said .

"Mom you know i am not interested in wedding right now" bro said to mum irritatingly.

"You shut up, you're already 27 , when are you going to get married , i am not getting any younger and i want to see my grandchildren before i die" mum said .

After that mum and dad retired for the night saying goodnight and love you's.

"What the hell diya , you know i have girlfriend yet you still provoke mom to find a girl for me" bro said angrily after mom and dad were out of sight.

"Tit for tat bro , why were you trying to make fuss of my london trip by bringing my in-laws in front of mom." I said to him icily.

"Com'on i was just joking chill" he said sheepishly

"Ditto bro ditto" i said and left for my room.

I throw myself on my bed and start thinking what am i going to do in london and what not and suddenly my phone ringed indicating that i have new notification

I took my phone and saw it was from Varun (Fiancee)

In the chat V represent varun and D represent diya

V - Hey,

D -Hello

V - were you sleeping , did i disturb you

D - No no you didn't, i was just getting ready for bed

V - Oh ... So how are you ? How was your day?

D - i am fine and the day was also fine but i want to tell you something.

V - What is it?

D - So today i went to this dinner and won the lucky draw and won a london trip. ( She explained everything as written before , I don't want to write the same things again as you will also get bored)

V - Wow Congratulations . So when are you going ?

D - Next week , do you mind if i go??

V - What of course not . Infact i will say you should go , its not everyday that we win this type of lucky draws.

D - What about your parents?

V - What about them?

D - I was thinking will they be angry , if i go? I was thinking to talk to your mom about it.

V - No no they won't be angry , infact they will also say that you should go , i know them and don't worry i will tell mom dad myself . You don't have to worry about it.

D - Really !! Thankyou so much😘😘

( Shit did i seriously send the kissing emoji, stupid stupid).

V - You don't have to thank me sweetheart😊😊  . Its  getting late now you should sleep. Goodnight sweet dreams 😴😴.

After reading his last message i was blushing so hard. Dream about me seriously ....

After calming my heart , i close the light and i slowly give myself to darkness with a smile on my face.
